RON PAUL WINS 2010 CPAC STRAW POLL…Voters on Marijuana?

Posted by FactReal on February 20, 2010

Libertarian Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX) wins 2010 CPAC Presidential straw poll
What does it mean? Did young libertarian Paulistas hack the system again?
Or, will conservatives adopt marijuana and join the ‘Blame America First’ cult to follow Ron Paul?
Or, are conservatives being hijacked by militant libertarians?
Vote Results:
48% of the votes cast were from students…
31% voted for Ron Paul. The crowd booed when it was announced.
22% voted for Mitt Romney.
7% voted for Sarah Palin.
6% for Tim Pawlenty
5% for Mike Pence
4% for Mike Huckabee and Newt Gingrich
REMEMBER RON PAUL’S ADVICE TO REPUBLICANS:
TO GET THE YOUNG VOTE ADOPT MARIJUANA

MSNBC Rachel Maddow show, May 5, 2009
(video mark 6:11)

Republicans need to change their attitudes about allowing the use of marijuana…”this is the kind of issues young people are interested in, that’s why the Republicans can’t reach the college kids with the current status quo of the party…[Republicans] need to change their attitude about personal liberties…”

(Note how this makes lefty Rachel Maddow happy.)
