OBAMACARE FIRST, THEN AMNESTY: Univision Pushing Illegal Immigration

Ever wonder why many Hispanics fall for the leftist demagoguery once they arrive in the U.S? Especially when they are fleeing from leftists policies in their own countries? Meet Univision, the most powerful Spanish-language TV network in the U.S., dedicated to tacitly brainwash and agitate Hispanics to support DEMAND amnesty for illegals, open borders, welfare and other social programs…and to FEAR the ugly racist American. Univision is the Spanish megaphone promulgating leftist talking points disguised as news and information bureau. They invite leftist radicals from ACLU and SEIU and present them as benevolent non-partisan experts. While Americans have been fighting against the socialist takeover of our health care, Univision has been pushing (almost daily) for Amnesty for all illegal immigrants. Miami-Dade gets $14.7 Million to target obese people Using taxpayer money to bully obese people - Miami-Dade has been awarded $14.7 Million to supposedly fight obesity. This is part of the Communities Putting Prevention to Work (CPPW), a project from the Dept. of Health (HHS) and Center for Disease Control (CDC) project. - Funds from the “Stimulus”: “The funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act [a.k.a. Stimulus] will be used to increase physical activity, improve nutrition, decrease obesity, and decrease smoking in U.S. communities.” On September 17, 2009, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius “announced a funding opportunity for communities and tribes to apply for $373 million in cooperative agreements for the comprehensive public health initiative, Communities Putting Prevention to Work, to be led by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).” - The Miami funds are part of $373 million “being awarded to 44 communities around the country to support public health efforts to reduce obesity and smoking, increase physical activity and improve nutrition.” - Award Recipient: Miami-Dade County Health Department was awarded a grant in the amount of 14.7 million dollars for a prevention program in Miami-Dade County on March 19, 2010.

Government in every aspect of your life Promulgating lofty goals to hide their true agenda for control - Their goal: “With this funding, our community will be able to expand access to fresh fruits and vegetables through community gardens and farms to institutions, promote healthy options in vending machines, promote breastfeeding, invest in activities that promote physical activity, incorporate standards in community planning designs that encourage physical activity, and enhance the safe routes to school and park programs,” said Lillian Rivera, administrator of the Miami-Dade County Health Department, in a news release.” They want to implement changes in “everything you can think of” to make people healthier, says Dr. Claude Dharamraj, the Health Department’s director.

Indoctrination & Restrictions Gov’t. to bombard Miami residents with anti-obesity ads and to restrict ads and products they don’t like. They will also influence behavior via taxes and high prices. As a condition for these “Stimulus” funds, local governments will have to use the intervention model called MAPPS (Media, Access, Point of decision information, Price, and Social support) to “influence behaviors by changing community environments:” 1. Use Media to promote healthy foods/drinks and increase activity; restrict advertising and employ counter-advertising for tobacco and unhealthy foods/drinks. 2. Increase Access to healthy food/drink choices and safe locations to be active and improve the built environment; reduce the availability of tobacco and unhealthy food/drinks. 3. Use of Point of decision labeling/signage/placement to discourage consumption of tobacco, increase consumption of healthy foods/drinks, and prompt physical activity. 4. Use Price to discourage consumption of tobacco and to benefit consumption of healthy foods/drinks. 5. Use Social support/services to promote tobacco cessation, breastfeeding, and increased activity.” “We are changing the paradigm to make the healthy choice the default choice,” said Thomas Frieden, director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). They will target everyone. “[W]e do great interventions so we can make a difference in people’s lives,” said Lillian Rivera, administrator of the Miami-Dade County Health Department. But they are missing an important point: Americans don’t want more government intervention into their lives!

If you still care about the mainstream media (MSM), here it is: They One cameraman from Channel 10 (ABC/WPLG) showed up late at the end of the protest when 95% of the protestors had left. The protest started at 11AM, and he showed up at 1:45PM. He did a quick interview.		Then he panned his camera across the almost empty site where the Anti-ObamaCare protest had occurred. I offered to email to him my photos/videos when the protestors were actually here so he could do a fair reporting…but he declined the offer. He was nice but he was late.

And the Obamistas?
These lonely souls came to support ObamaCare. Their tiny sign on the big red heart says: “We love ObamaCare.” (Click photo to enlarge image). What else must taxpayers pay for: food, housing, car, iPhone, iPod,….megaphones? They apparently ignore that young people are going to pay the most for this reckless Obamination. ObamaCare will force them to buy insurance even if they are young and healthy…even if they don’t want it. The IRS and government will be between them and their doctors. Young people are inheriting from Obama high debt and high deficit.		If you know this man, tell him he can buy health insurance for his mom for about $200 per month. (A quick internet search found 138 health plans starting as low as $202.45 a month for a 58 year old woman in Miami, FL.) If she is older than 65, she can apply to Medicare. If they are poor they can apply to Medicaid and other govt. programs. Also, there are charities, free and low-cost clinics, manufacturer and hospital assistance programs, … Health care costs are high, but we don’t need to destroy the system in order to improve it. We can start by eliminating fraud, junk lawsuits; by allowing across-state insurances, etc.

OBAMACARE: House “Reconciliation” Bill H.R.4872 (link)

Here is the just-released 153-page text of the House “Reconciliation” Bill (a.k.a. Wreckonciliation) via the House Rules Committee. BUT as BigGovernment.com reports: In the strange, ‘through the looking glass’ world that is the House Democrat Leadership, they will vote for these “fixes” to the Senate passed health care bill. In voting for these fixes, the House will ‘deem’ that the Senate Health Care bill is passed. See, the Democrats can vote for the fixes without having to vote for the bill that is being fixed.We already knew they don’t have to read bills to pass them. Now, they don’t have to vote for them either. The Senate, then, will dutifully enact all of these “fixes,” by using elaborate procedural tricks and at least a couple votes to override the Senate Parliamentarian. Right, like that is going to happen. For those keeping score at home, the whole idea of a reconciliation bill is simply to provide cover for House Democrats to pass the Senate Bill.
