SNL LIED…Rep. Michele Bachmann DID Look into the Right Camera…the Tea Party Camera for SOTU Response (Both Videos Here)

THIS IS HOW THE LEFT CREATES MYTHS…to destroy Conservatives
On 1/25/2011, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN) gave a speech dubbed the Tea Party response to Obama’s 2010 State of the Union Address (SOTU). For a week liberals have been mocking Bachmann for not looking straight at the CNN camera while delivering her speech. This past Saturday, the clowns from NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” lampooned Bachmann, even though it has been proven that Bachmann was looking into to the Tea Party camera to address her Tea Party audience. According to CNN, Bachmann said that “about a month ago she was invited to speak to the membership of the Tea Party Express and never expected the media to carry her speech live.” (Hat tip: HotAirPundit)

Liberals manufacture these type of stupid controversies because they don’t want Americans to listen to the conservative message like Bachmann’s. We cannot allow liberals to continue re-writing the facts.

Compare the two videos:

Tony Loiacono, who directed and produced the Bachmann video explained to WAPO: “The problem? There were multiple cameras in the room, he says, and the congresswoman, a Minnesota Republican, was looking into the TeaPartyHD camera with the teleprompter. The networks provided their own cameras instead of plugging into his, which made her glance look askew.” (Hat tip: TeaPartyExpress)

Sweetness-Light found CNN’s explanation discreetly tucked away on their Political Ticker blog indicating there was NO Bachmann’s camera blunder: “Bachmann was actually addressing the camera of the Tea Party Express, the group that had invited the congresswoman to deliver a response to the State of the Union…Bachmann’s delivery was subsequently mocked by a number of left leaning commentators and no less than David Axelrod, a top adviser to President Barack Obama…”

Here is a screenshot of CNN’s blog post dated 1/26/2011:

Breitbart reports: “Our sources tell us that CNN had originally agreed to use the live feed set up by Tea Party Express, which had a teleprompter running on the lens in which Rep. Bachmann was delivering her speech. But, when Rep. Bachmann left the camera set-up and sat in the House chamber to hear Pres. Obama’s speech, CNN set up a camera of their own, just off to the side of the main, tele-prompter/camera. Thus, when CNN provided their network feed it ended up skewed and off-kilter.”

But was it CNN or Fox News? Sources tell Breitbart that “the pool camera providing the feed for CNN was Fox News.”

Prior to the SOTU response, FoxNews indicated they would share a camera: “[T]elevision news outlets have agreed to share a camera to record Bachmann’s comments — and some could choose to air them live.” CNN reported they would air Bachmann’s speech: “CNN plans to carry Bachmann’s remarks live after Rep Paul Ryan speaks.”

Days before the SOTU response, Fox News reported that two Tea Party sites would broadcast Bachmann’s response online: “A Tea Party organization points to an alternate rebuttal offered by Rep. Michele Bachmann…’Congresswoman Michele Bachmann has confirmed with us that she will broadcast her response to Barack Obama’s State Of The Union address this Tuesday,’ a post on the website said. ‘You’ll be able to watch her rebut Obama via her address which will be broadcast on our website TeaPartyExpress.org.'” Fox News also added, “Bachmann’s remarks will also be streamed live at http://www.TeaPartyHD.com shortly after the President concludes his speech and the Republican response airs.”

On 1/21/2011, the Daily Caller reported that Bachmann’s speech “will be broadcast online and sponsored by Tea Party Express, a California-based political action committee…” The Tea Party Express also indicated so in an e-mail to their supporters.

The blogger TheRightScoop posted the Tea Party video the next day after Bachmann’s speech. So, why didn’t the major networks use the correct video during their trashing analysis of Bachmann’s SOTU response.

Meghan McCain: “Michelle Bachmann in my opinion is no better than a poor man’s Sarah Palin… This is one rogue woman who couldn’t even look into the camera directly.” (Video mark 0:52)
MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow (Video mark 00:20)
Obama’s senior adviser David Axelrod and MSNBC Laugh at Bachmann’s “Wrong-Camera” Speech
DailyKos: “Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) gave the Tea Party rebuttal to President Obama’s State of the Union address last night…The overall response to her has been negative. Mainly because she spoke into the wrong camera and refused to honor Gabrielle Giffords. The result seems to be that she’s solidified the perception that the teabaggers are tone deaf and crazy.”
