BACKGROUND OF THE CANDIDATES FOR MIAMI-DADE COUNTY MAYOR
Here are their biography, party affiliation, votes, donations, opinions, etc.
With 11 candidates running for Miami-Dade County mayor and just weeks to decide, selecting the right candidate will be tough. On top of that, many candidates are pretending to be fiscal-conservatives. They know voters are tired of government waste and abuse, so many are pandering and trying to hit all the right keywords, i.e., “lower taxes,” “give government back to the people,” “transparency”…even libertine Luther Campbell sounds conservative at times. Isn’t it interesting that conservatives are constantly being vilified and demonized — except during political campaigns when everyone wants to sound responsible, patriotic, reasonable, ethical and honest?
Thus, it’s important that we look at these candidates’ background beyond their empty slogans and platitudes. We’ll be listing here what I find for each candidate: their biography, party affiliation, votes, donations, opinions, etc.
