Michelle Malkin Rips Juan Williams for Calling the Tea Party ‘Racist’ (Video)

HOW TO FIGHT LIBERAL LIES
Last night on the Hannity show, conservative Michelle Malkin blasted liberal Juan Williams for continuing to push the lie that the Tea Party is a racist movement or as violent as the Occupy movement.

Malkin showed how to fight the liberal smears:

Video: Malkin to Williams on Hannity (May 2, 2012):

“There is no, absolutely no parallel, between the peace-loving, tax-paying, hard working people of the Tea Party Movement and the anarchist, POO-FLINGING, Marxist Monkeys of the Occupy Movement!”

“These occupiers and the Democrats behind them, can no more disown the violent agitators, than they can disown the stench that comes from these filthy encampments!”

Michelle Malkin wrote on her blog afterwards:

Tonight on Hannity, Juan Williams tried to deflect attention from the endemic violence and anarchy of the Occupy movement by talking about the “racism in some parts of the Tea Party” and “jokes about monkeys and the president.”

I asked him to name names.

His response? 1) You find it for me and 2) I don’t have any evidence. […]

Williams then deflected again by talking about Tea Party activists who were “rude” to members of Congress…as if this was in any way comparable to the window-smashing, arson, rape, property destruction, railroad sabotage, thematic calls for violent revolution, murder, overthrow and anarchy, Molotov cocktail-throwing, and bridge bomb-plotting perpetrated by Occupy members and leaders from coast to coast.

HotAir explains why equating the Tea Party with the violent Occupiers is an insult:

To compare it to the Tea Party is really an insult to both movements. Tea partiers abhor violence, and the bulk of the energy behind the movement is directed at demanding more fiscally responsible behavior from government, and restoring the freedoms and institutions which have made this country great. The aim of the occupiers is to tear down the system from within, and replace it with mob rule. They encourage the presence of revolutionary communists and black bloc anarchists within their midst, knowing full well that violence will ultimately be required to achieve their aims.
