Obama calls it “noise”: Ahmadinejad declares Israel will be eliminated.
||Ahmadinejad said today at a Manhattan hotel: “We don’t even count them as any part of any equation for Iran. During a historical phase, they (the Israelis) represent minimal disturbances that come into the picture and are then eliminated.”
It is a disgrace to give Ahmadinejad a platform to speak about the rule of law: “The leader of an outlaw country that is a serial violator of the fundamental principles of the rule of law has no place in this hall,” Israel’s UN envoy Ron Prosor said. “It is a shame and disgrace to give someone like him the opportunity to speak on such an important topic.”
Letting Ahmadinejad address the UN on the issue of the rule of law was like “appointing a pyromaniac as fire chief,” Prosor added.
|Why Americans allow this tyrant on U.S. soil?
[W]hy in the name of all human rights and the real “war on women” the United States is granting a visa to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to speak yet again at the UN General Assembly, complete with security brought to him by American taxpayers. As crazy as it sounds, Americans will be paying to protect Ahmadinejad even though the same tax dollars were used to battle Qaddafi last year in a seven-month bombing campaign that climaxed with the Libyan dictator’s death and Hillary Clinton’s declaration of “we came, we saw, he died.” Things will be a lot easier for Ahmadinejad though. In just over a week, the ugly theocratic puppet will probably deliver another stupid diatribe on an international stage, one that will almost certainly laud the madness in Egypt, Libya, and beyond while praising the “bravery” of the protesters as the Iranian people remain silenced, banned from taking to the streets under the threat of violence, and faced by a government that executes more people per capita than any society on earth. There is absolutely nothing Qaddafi and Mubarak have done to their innocent citizens that Ahmadinejad and his clerical masters have not done to theirs, so how could the Obama Administration and the UN allow such hypocrisy?
|Ahmadinejad: Israel Has ‘No Roots’ in Middle East History:
NEW YORK – Israel has “no roots” in the history of the Middle East and represents a disturbance for Iran, Iranian [
President despot] Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Monday.
Ahmadinejad said Iran has been around for thousands of years, but Israel has existed for only 60 or 70 years. He said that for a certain “historical phase” Israel represents a disturbance for Iran and “they are then eliminated.”
“They (Israel) have no roots there in history,” Ahmadinejad told reporters in New York, where he is due to attend the UN General Assembly. “They do not even enter the equation for Iran.” […]
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has hinted that Israel could strike Iran’s nuclear sites and has criticized US President Barack Obama’s position that sanctions and diplomacy should be given more time to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons. […]
In previous years, Ahmadinejad has used his UN speeches to defend Iran’s nuclear program and to attack Israel, the United States and Europe. He has questioned the Holocaust and cast doubt on whether 19 hijackers were really responsible for the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States in 2001.
|Ahmadinejad working for the Islamic new world order:
On the international stage, Ahmadinejad continues to present himself as the defender of a new world order that would give emerging powers – and in particular Muslim counties – their due. Earlier this month, he hosted a summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Tehran.
On Monday, the Iranian president addressed a high-level UN meeting on the rule of law – an appearance that drew howls of protest from human-rights advocates. Human rights in Iran have deteriorated further since the regime violently put down the country’s “green revolution” in 2009, rights promoters say. They also cite the plight of religious minorities, homosexuals, and dissidents in Iran.
