Rush Limbaugh in Heaven Today (1951-2021)

RushLimbaugh.com: In Loving Memory of Rush Hudson Limbaugh III – The Greatest of All Time

Rush’s Famous Quote:

It’s never time to panic, folks. It’s never, ever gonna be time to give up on our country. It will never be time to give up on the United States. It will never be time to give up on yourself.

Rush Limbaugh’s wife announced radio icon’s death at the start of his radio program today:

Kathryn Adams Limbaugh on Our Beloved Rush, Feb 17, 2021:

KATHRYN: Hello, everyone. I know that I am most certainly not the Limbaugh that you tuned in to listen to today. I, like you, very much wish Rush was behind this golden microphone right now, welcoming you to another exceptional three hours of broadcasting. For over 32 years, Rush has cherished you, his loyal audience, and always looked forward to every single show.

It is with profound sadness I must share with you directly that our beloved Rush — my wonderful husband — passed away this morning due to complications from lung cancer. As so many of you know, losing a loved one is terribly difficult, even more so when that loved one is larger than life.

Rush will forever be the greatest of all time. Rush was an extraordinary man, a gentle giant — brilliant, quick witted, genuinely kind, extremely generous, passionate, courageous, and the hardest working person I know. Despite being one of the most recognized, powerful people in the world, Rush never let the success change his core or beliefs.

He was polite and respectful to everyone he met. Even most recently when he was not feeling well in the hospital, he was so appreciative to every single doctor and nurse and custodian and first responder. He never wanted to put anyone out, and always thanked them profusely for their help.

From today on, there will be a tremendous void in our lives — and, of course, on the radio. Rush loved our miraculous country beyond measure, an unwavering patriot, he loved our United States military, our flag, our Constitution, our Founding Fathers. He proudly fought and defended conservative values in a way that no one else can.

Rush often stood up and took arrows on his own because he knew it was the right thing to do. Rush encouraged so many of us to think for ourselves, to learn and to lead. He often said it did not matter where you started or what you look like. As Americans, we all have endless opportunities like nowhere else in the world.

Rush gave us hope that through hard work and determination, we can overcome the obstacles in our lives and be our best. Many of you started small businesses or pursued personal dreams because Rush gave you the faith that you could. He made the most complex issues simple to understand, while making that level of genius look easy. It most certainly was anything but easy. Irreplicable, remarkable talent.

On behalf of the Limbaugh family, I would like to personally thank each and every one of you that prayed for Rush and inspired him to keep going. You rallied around Rush and lifted him up when he needed you the most.

I am certain, without a shadow of a doubt, if he could be here today, he would be. He loved you and he loved this radio program with every part of his being. Instead, we know our Rush is in heaven, encouraging us in the same way he always did on earth. Rush’s love for our country and belief that our best days are ahead live on eternally.

In Rush’s honor, may we all continue Rush’s mission in our individual lives and communities. I know all of you listening are terribly sad. We all are. I’m terribly sorry to have to deliver this news to you. God bless you, Rush, and God bless our country.

Democrats Use False Claim re: Capitol Police Officer Death to Impeach Trump

Posted by FactReal on February 17, 2021

During last week’s impeachment trial, Democrats use an unfounded claim that Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick died after being struck with a fire extinguisher during the Jan. 6 Capitol breach. How Sicknick died it is still unknown.

New York Times Quietly Corrects Major Conspiracy Weaponized By Democrats For Impeachment” (2/15/2021):

The New York Times quietly corrected a major month-old story as the Senate impeachment trial came to a close last week. The article previously claimed a police officer was beaten to death by a fire extinguisher during the January Capitol mayhem. It now appears that is false, but the Times didn’t correct its article until the impeachment trial was nearly over.

The article…now prominently features an “update” at the top of the page…without a concession or apology from the Times for perpetuating a conspiracy about Sicknick’s death that Democrats weaponized to pursue a second impeachment of Donald Trump.

Although ample such evidence publicly available by Feb. 2 discredited the Times’ fire extinguisher theory, this didn’t stop Democrats from seizing on the gruesome conspiracy to amplify their narrative. The Times did not issue an update to its incorrect article until the impeachment trial began to wrap up. The impeachment concluded Feb. 13, more than a week after public information showed the Sicknick narrative Democrats used in their case was materially untrue.

In fact, it still remains unclear how exactly officer Sicknick died. According to ProPublica, “the family got word that Brian Sicknick had a blood clot and had had a stroke” the day after the riot. “A ventilator was keeping him alive.

No evidence of trauma to the head (2/14/2021):

Investigators have found no evidence of trauma sustained by blows to the head, and nobody has been arrested in connection to Sicknick’s alleged murder.

In fact, Sicknick had returned to his job after the Capitol riot, and texted his brother that aside from being pepper sprayed twice, he was otherwise “in good shape.”

Timeline of important dates:

1/8/2021 ProPublica: Sicknick had a blood clot and had a stroke:

“He texted me last night and said, ‘I got pepper-sprayed twice,’ and he was in good shape,” said Ken Sicknick, his brother, as the family drove toward Washington. “Apparently he collapsed in the Capitol and they resuscitated him using CPR.”

But the day after that text exchange, the family got word that Brian Sicknick had a blood clot and had had a stroke; a respirator was keeping him alive.

2/2/2021 CNN: Early reports that Sicknick was fatally struck by a fire extinguisher are not true:

According to one law enforcement official, medical examiners did not find signs that the officer sustained any blunt force trauma, so investigators believe that early reports that he was fatally struck by a fire extinguisher are not true.

One possibility being considered by investigators is that Sicknick became ill after interacting with a chemical irritant like pepper spray or bear spray that was deployed in the crowd. But investigators reviewing video of the officer’s time around the Capitol haven’t been able to confirm that in tape that has been recovered so far, the official said.

The case could also be complicated if Sicknick had a preexisting medical condition.

2/2/2021 Democrats’ pretrial memo cites the NYT report falsely claiming:

The Insurrectionists killed a Capitol Police officer by striking him in the head with a fire extinguisher.

Trump Defense Lawyer: “My Home & Law Firm are Under Siege”

Posted by FactReal on February 14, 2021

Former President Trump’s impeachment defense attorney Michael Van Der Veen told Fox News (2/13/2021):

My home was attacked. I’d rather not go into that. To answer your question, my entire family, my business, my law firm are under siege right now. I don’t really want to go into that, though. What I’d really like to do is talk about the merits of the case.

“TRAITOR” was spray-painted on the driveway of his Philadelphia home Friday night:
Via Forbes:

Trump defense attorney Michael van der Veen’s driveway was marked with graffiti on Friday, hours after the Pennsylvania-based personal injury lawyer first appeared in the Senate chamber to defend former President Donald Trump against impeachment — it’s the latest act of vandalism to hit a U.S. political figure in recent weeks.

Trump impeachment defense lawyer Michael van der Veen’s home in Philadelphia on Saturday (1/13/2021), after it was vandalized with the words “Traitor” spray-painted on the driveway.

‘LYING FASCIST SCUMBAG LAWYER’ tweeted the group that protested outside his office:
Lying fascist scumbag lawyer’ is how the leftist group Refuse Fascism Philly (@refusefascismPH) referred to Michael van der Veen in a tweet (see below) when they organized a protest in front of his office for defending citizen Donald J. Trump during this week’s baseless, unconstitutional impeachment trial. The leftists came with drum, bullhorn and their stupid chants to intimidate people and to interrupt the normal course of business.

They also tweeted: “Acquittal is a vote for fascism.” So, according to their logic, when Bill Clinton was acquitted in 1999, that was fascism?

LEFTIST TACTIC: When leftists disagree with someone, they call that person ‘fascist’ to give themselves license to harass and attack that person. But we know fascism belongs to the Left (Video).

Trump Not Impeached by Senate for a Second Time; 7 Republicans Joined Dems (2/13/2021)

Posted by FactReal on February 13, 2021

The U.S. Senate voted today to acquit Donald Trump in the impeachment trial pushed by Democrats over their baseless claim that Trump incited an insurrection with his speech on January 6, 2021. [The transcript of Trump’s speech exonerates him.]

This is the second time Trump is acquitted in an impeachment trial pushed by Dems based on trump-up charges. [The transcript of Trump’s phone call to the Ukrainian president exonerated him. (PDF)]

Leftists have been trying to impeach Trump before he took office and thereafter.

Democrats have tried to impeach Trump for things they have done themselves.

Today, Senators voted 57-43. They fell short of the 67 votes (two-thirds) needed to convict former President Donald Trump.

Video via PBS: Senate votes to acquit Trump

7 Republican senators joined with 48 Democrats and 2 “Independents” to convict Trump:
– Richard Burr of North Carolina,
– Bill Cassidy of Louisiana,
– Susan Collins of Maine,
– Lisa Murkowski of Alaska,
– Mitt Romney of Utah,
– Ben Sasse of Nebraska and
– Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania.

Response from Donald J. Trump
C-SPAN tweeted:

Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America

I want to first thank my team of dedicated lawyers and others for their tireless work upholding justice and defending truth.

My deepest thanks as well to all of the United States Senators and Members of Congress who stood proudly for the Constitution we all revere and for the sacred legal principles at the heart of our country.

Our cherished Constitutional Republic was founded on the impartial rule of law, the indispensable safeguard for our liberties, our rights and our freedoms.

It is a sad commentary on our times that one political party [DEMOCRAT PARTY] in America is given a free pass to denigrate the rule of law, defame law enforcement, cheer mobs, excuse rioters, and transform justice into a tool of political vengeance, and persecute, blacklist, cancel and suppress all people and viewpoints with whom or which they disagree. I always have, and always will, be a champion for the unwavering rule of law, the heroes of law enforcement, and the right of Americans to peacefully and honorably debate the issues of the day without malice and without hate.

This has been yet another phase of the greatest witch hunt in the history of our Country. No president has ever gone through anything like it, and it continues because our opponents cannot forget the almost 75 million people, the highest number ever for a sitting president, who voted for us just a few short months ago.

I also want to convey my gratitude to the millions of decent, hardworking, law-abiding, God-and-Country loving citizens who have bravely supported these important principles in these very difficult and challenging times.

Our historic, patriotic and beautiful movement to Make America Great Again has only just begun. In the months ahead I have much to share with you, and I look forward to continuing our incredible journey together to achieve American greatness for all of our people. There has never been anything like it!

We have so much work ahead of us, and soon we will emerge with a vision for a bright, radiant, and limitless American future.

Together there is nothing we cannot accomplish.

We remain one People, one family, and one glorious nation under God, and it’s our responsibility to preserve this magnificent inheritance for our children and for generations of Americans to come.

May God bless all of you, and may God forever bless the United States of America.

What Trump did NOT do on Jan. 6, 2021:
– Trump did NOT call for an insurrection or for violence.
– He did NOT say anything about storming the Capitol.
– He did NOT say to his supporters to go to Capitol Hill and get up in the face of Congresspeople like Democrat Senator Cory Booker said in 2018.
– Trump did NOT celebrate the rioters or urge for donations to get rioters out of jail like Democrat Kamala Harris in 2020.
– Trump did NOT incite violence as Democrats have.

Where exactly does Trump call for an insurrection or for violence? Where does he say to his supporters to go and storm the Capitol?

Compilation Video: Democrats Inciting Violence, Claiming Election Was Stolen, Objecting Electoral Votes

Posted by FactReal on February 13, 2021

Democrats want to impeach Trump for things they themselves did.
Compilation video presented yesterday by Trump’s impeachment defense lawyer shows Democrats’ impeachable behavior: Democrats claiming an election was stolen, objecting to certification of electoral votes, and using the word ‘fight’ in their speeches. Those things incite violence and are impeachable offenses according to Democrats now.

Democrats words had a violent effect
Unlike Trump, Democrats promoted and financially aided the leftist BLM-Antifa rioters who for months burned down U.S. cities, accosted and even killed Americans, attacked police officers, tried to breach the White House and the Supreme Court, attacked a federal court, looted stores, created autonomous zones, etc. On top of that, Democrats voted to defund the police.

Democrat Jerry Nadler in 1998:

The effect of impeachment is to overturn the popular will of the voters. We must not overturn an election and remove a president from office except to defend our system of government or our constitutional liberties against a dire threat. And we must not do so without an overwhelming consensus of the American people.

There must never be a narrowly-voted impeachment or an impeachment supported by one of our major political parties and opposed by the other. Such an impeachment will produce divisiveness and bitterness in our politics for years to come, and will call into question the very legitimacy of our political institutions.

The American people have heard the allegations against the president, and they overwhelmingly oppose impeaching him. They elected president Clinton. They still support him. We have no right to overturn the considered judgment of the American people.

Mr. Speaker, the case against the President has not been made. There is far from sufficient evidence to support the allegations, and the allegations, even if proven true, do not rise to the level of impeachable offenses. Mr. Speaker, this is clearly a partisan railroad job. The same people who today tell us we must impeach the President for lying under oath, almost to a person voted last year to re-elect the Speaker who had just admitted lying to Congress in an official proceeding.

The American people are watching, and they will not forget. You may have the votes, you may have the muscle, but you do not have the legitimacy of a national consensus or of a constitutional imperative. This partisan coup d’état will go down in infamy in the history of this nation. Thank you, Mr. Speaker, I yield back the balance of my time.
