LIBYA & MARXISTS: Libya to be Represented by Nicaraguan Sandinista at the United Nations (Biography of Miguel d’Escoto Brockmann)

Posted by FactReal on March 30, 2011

Marxist Sandinista Miguel d'Escoto

Bloomberg reports that “Miguel d’Escoto Brockmann, a former foreign minister of Nicaragua’s socialist Sandinista government and one-time president of the United Nations General Assembly, has been named by Muammar Qaddafi’s regime as Libya’s ambassador to the UN.”

D’Escoto is a mercenary,” said former Libyan deputy ambassador at the UN, Ibrahim Dabbashi. (Dabbashi broke with Qaddafi to support the U.S. no-fly zone and other sanctions against Libya and is representing the rebel-led Transitional National Council.)

Miguel d’Escoto, 78, is the Jimmy Carter of Nicaragua but instead of pretending to be the “silly old farmer,” d’Escoto hides behind the ecumenical label of “priest” to go around the world legitimizing and helping dictators.

Miguel d’Escoto is actually an anti-Semitic and unindicted Marxist:
● Was ordained a Catholic priest of the Maryknoll Missionaries in the early 1960s.
● Embraced the left-wing liberation theology movement.
● Continued being a “priest” while being a secret Sandinista member.
(Many communists infiltrated the Catholic Church in Latin America to destroy the church from within.)
● Was an official of the World Council of Churches, a group that has funded Marxist insurgent groups throughout the world.
● Formed part of El Grupo de los Doce (Group of Twelve) who helped the Sandinista terrorists (FSLN) hijack Nicaragua and take away the freedoms of the Nicaraguan people.
● Served as foreign minister from 1979 to 1990 for the butchers of Nicaragua: the Sandinista government.
Forged close relationships with the Soviet bloc and Arab countries when he was the Sandinista foreign minister: The Sandinista regime gave refuge and citizenship to a number of Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) members.

Pope admonishes Marxist priest Ernesto Cardenal (1983, Nicaragua)

● Was suspended by the Vatican in the 1980s together with two other priests, Ernesto and Fernando Cardenal, for actively participating in the Sandinista revolution. They are known as the “false priests.”
● Was admonished by Pope John Paul II for being part of the Marxist terrorist group of the Sandinistas while being a Catholic priest.
● Hated Ronald Reagan for trying to save Nicaraguans from the Sandinista dictatorship.
● Served as president of the United Nations General Assembly president in 2008 and 2009.
Proclaimed dictator Fidel Castro “World Hero of Solidarity” and Marxist Evo Morales “World Hero of Mother Earth.” As if that wasn’t enough, Miguel D’Escoto added: “They embody virtues and values worth of emulation by all of us.”
● Accused Israel of “crucifying our Palestinian brothers and sisters” and labeled Israel an “apartheid state.”

Of course, the Left loves Miguel d’Escoto.

Flashback: Democrats helped the Marxist Sandinistas to enslave the Nicaraguan people

From L to R: Democrat John Kerry, Democrat Tom Harkin, Harkin's wife, Marxist Nicaraguan Dictator Daniel Ortega (1980s)

GEORGE SOROS & LEFTIST GROUPS behind Florida Amendment 5 & 6

Posted by FactReal on October 26, 2010

RECOMMENDATIONS: Why vote NO on Amendments 4, 5, 6
VOTER GUIDES: 2010 Florida & Miami Election – 11/2/2010

Check who has donated to the proponents: here.

AMENDMENTS #5 AND #6 deal with redistricting:

The purpose of these two measures is to amend Florida’s Constitution to set standards for the Legislature to follow when establishing legislative (#5) and congressional (#6) district boundaries. Proponents say this will establish fairness standards for use in creating legislative district boundaries. But who will determine what is fair? Amendments 5 and 6 “require legislators to achieve the seemingly impossible when they draw new district lines that are certain to be second-guessed by activist ‘judges gone wild.’ Opponents call these Amendments ‘the full-employment act for lawyers’ because the contradictory mandates outlined in Amendments 5 and 6 will lead to endless litigations. The long list of lawyers and law firms contributing to FairDistricts is no accident, critics say.

Read here as they appear on the ballot for November 2, 2010.

Cost can’t be determined. But there will be more litigations, more challenges in the courts; more costs to Floridians.

The Complete Financial Information Statement indicates that: The Financial Impact Estimating Conference (FIEC) expects that the proposed amendment may result in increased costs; however, the magnitude of the fiscal impact of these amendments cannot be determined.

• The State may incur additional legal costs to litigate the redistricting plans.
• Florida’s court system may incur costs to hear cases that allege violations of the proposed constitutional standards.
• Any additional cost to the Legislature to develop the plans is indeterminate.

“The State may incur additional legal costs to litigate the redistricting plans developed under the proposed constitutional standards…For example, the requirement that every district be drawn so as not to favor or disfavor any incumbent or political party may spawn challenges…These legal costs are indeterminate.”

State costs for previous redistricting efforts were $15 Millions for the 1990 cycle and about $11.7 Millions for the 2000 cycle. However, “the proposed amendments will increase litigation costs to levels at least seven to ten times those experienced in the most recent apportionments.”

FARC’s #2 man, Mono Jojoy, killed in a military air strike.
This victory would have not happened if Colombians had elected the Marxist clown who mooned his students (video here) when he was dean of the National University of Colombia in Bogotá.

Colombia’s new president, Juan Manuel Santos was well-known for fiercely combating the leftist terrorists of Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) when he was minister of defense under the Uribe administration. As president, Santos continues the fight.

Viva Colombia’s President Santos For Coup De Grace Against FARC, the Marxist guerrilla:

“The devastating Sept. 22 attack on FARC headquarters in Colombia’s central Meta province all but signifies the end of the five-decade-old conflict. It will take a little while for the official end to be declared, but this war is pretty much over.

The death of Jorge Briceno, aka Mono Jojoy, the feared military strategist and top commander of the organization, means two things.

One, the historical leadership is now finished; the legendary founder, Manuel Marulanda, was killed by the army in 2008 and the man who replaced him, Alfonso Cano, is an ideologue, not a military strategist.

Two, since Mono Jojoy’s demise is the culmination of a two-year streak in which every key camp inside Colombia has been located, FARC is now unable to operate effectively within national borders. No terrorist guerrilla has ever won a war in exile. […]

One less communist terrorist to worry about
The authorities infiltrated the headquarters and, after patient work, were able to place a GPS device inside Mono Jojoy’s (U.S.-made) boots that signaled his location.

This would have been impossible without the almost 40 million pages contained in the laptop computers of Raul Reyes, the FARC commander killed during an incursion into Ecuadorean territory in early 2008. […]

For decades, politicians, academics, human rights activists and journalists on both sides of the Atlantic failed to see that there was nothing romantic, “bien-pensant” or Robin Hoodesque about an organization that killed, maimed, kidnapped and extorted for a totalitarian objective. […]

Colombians did not give up and continued to reclaim territory for civilian rule…Colombia’s victory against FARC is the result of civilians awakening to the evil of totalitarian terror.

…[P]easants, factory workers, teachers, students and others joined the struggle to defeat FARC, beautifully symbolized by the hundreds of thousands who took to the streets inside Colombia and around the world in 2008 to clamor for the end of terror.”

Chavez loses supermajority in legislative elections:
Venezuelan Legislature after elections
Click image to enlarge it: Chavez’s party loses its supermajority in Venezuela elections

Chavez's party (red) won at least 90 seats, while an opposition coalition (blue) that united under the Democratic Unity Table banner won at least 59.

“His party and leadership got rebuked by voters in yesterday’s election as Chavez lost the supermajority in the legislature necessary for him to rule by decree.”
“Chávez still enjoys a congressional majority after winning at least 95 of the 165 seats. But opposition candidates won at least 59 seats, enough to strip Mr. Chávez of a two-thirds majority—the threshold needed to pass sweeping legislation in the congress. More importantly, the opposition says it won 52% of the popular vote which will give them momentum going into the 2012 presidential elections. “We are the majority,” said Ramón Guillermo Aveledo, an opposition director.”
But beware of a desperate Marxist tyrant: Dictator Chavez can change the rules any time. “He has three months before the next legislature takes its seats, which means Chavez can still use the lame-duck session to pass whatever he wants. He has not exactly been shy about using that process for his own ends before this, and it may mean that most of the damage the opposition hoped to avoid with a victory will already be a fait accompli by the time they arrive.”
Black September for Chavez…but beware: (Google’s English translation is mediocre)
With so many things going wrong in Venezuela, Chavez was forced to call for elections to give his dictatorship some cover-up.
“He called for elections…like other tyrants have done before: Saddam Hussein Muwabe, Idi Amin, Lukashenko and the Castro tyrants among others…Their fraudulent electoral contests give arguments to their accomplices to defend their misdeeds […]

The opposition obtained enough votes to break Chavez’s majority […]

So, this time we must be vigilant and especially the opposition party and its leaders, it is not unreasonable to expect the worst from those who tramples the law and the Constitution…So we see [the Marxists] disturbed, nervous, and actively attacking their democratic opposition…As noted yesterday by Maria Corina Machada, the opposition congresswoman just elected with an overwhelming number of votes, the next three months are crucial…Chavez will try during this time to do anything to consolidate his power.

This has been a black September for Chavez…His cohort Mono Jojoy was killed, the plebiscite transformed the legislature proving that his opponents are the majority…and on top of that, Colombia’s attorney general removed [from the Colombian Senate] his cohort, Piedad Cordoba, who cannot be eligible for any political office for the next 18 years since they found her long list of crimes in combination with the murderers of the FARC. Chavez luck changed since he exhumed the remains of [Venezuela’s George Washington] Simon Bolivar and his sisters…”

Juan Manuel Santos wins in a landslide (69%) against Marxist-disguised-as-clown Antanas Mockus (27.5%).
Santos is often referred as Colombian President Álvaro Uribe’s chosen heir.

“Colombia’s Juan Manuel Santos, after being elected president by a landslide last night, pledged to free his country from the “nightmare of violence” by sustaining all the government’s might against Marxist rebels.”

Americans rescued by Santos’ Operation Checkmate (video)
“Santos, 58, delivered some of the biggest blows against the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, while serving as defense minister from 2006 to 2009. These include the rescue of 15 hostages including politician Ingrid Betancourt and three U.S. defense contractors. He also ordered the raid into Ecuador that killed the group’s second-in-command, Raul Reyes.” (Bloomberg)

2010 Colombian Elections Results (June 20, 2010)

Santos won the presidential election with 69% of the vote:
“The record 9 million ballots cast for Santos gave the U.S.- educated economist and former defense minister 69 percent of the vote against 28 percent for the Green Party’s Antanas Mockus.”

“Santos dedicated the victory to President Alvaro Uribe, who leaves office Aug. 7 having spurred record economic growth and investment while beating back insurgents and slashing by half the number of murders during eight years in office.”

Colombia’s Conservatives Threw Support to Santos
“Santos’s support for the military and his pledges to reduce corruption and improve security are in line with the party’s goals, the Conservatives said in a statement on their website, endorsing the former defense minister’s candidacy.”

“The Conservatives form part of the governing coalition in congress, alongside Santos’s La U Party. There are few ideological differences between the parties, though La U is less conservative on social issues such as abortion”, said Felipe Botero, a political analyst at Bogota’s Universidad de los Andes.

Antanas Mockus, the son of Lithuanian immigrants, is famous for mooning his students back in October 1993.

As dean of the National University of Colombia in Bogotá, he did not hesitate to pull down his pants in front of thousands of students to respond to a whistling while he was chairing a meeting with students in the famous auditorium León de Greiff.
