Trump Mocking? Obama’s AG called us Cowards [2009 Video]

Posted by FactReal on October 3, 2018

REMEMBER WHEN ERIC HOLDER CALLED US A NATION OF COWARDS?
In 2009, Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder offended the whole nation by saying that we are a ‘Nation of Cowards.’

But the media today are going wild claiming Trump was mocking Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford. [But wasn’t Trump just going over the many inconsistencies of Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony?]

Holder said on February 18, 2009:

Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial, we have always been, and we, I believe, continue to be, in too many ways, a nation of cowards.

As reported:

Attorney General Eric Holder described the United States Wednesday as a nation of cowards on matters of race, saying most Americans avoid discussing awkward racial issues. […].

“Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and I believe continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards,” said Holder, nation’s first black attorney general.

Race issues continue to be a topic of political discussion, Holder said, but “we, as average Americans, simply do not talk enough with each other about race.”

Heather MacDonald wrote in February 2009, “Nation of Cowards?
So says Eric Holder, but what’s really cowardly is racial dishonesty.”

Attorney General Eric Holder, a Clinton administration retread, …Holder recently told his Justice Department employees that the United States was a “nation of cowards” for not talking more about race. […]

Is he nuts? Leave aside for a moment Holder’s purely decorative call for a “frank” conversation about race. The Clinton-era Conversation also purported to be frank, and we know what that meant: a one-sided litany of white injustices. Please raise your hand if you haven’t heard the following bromides about “the racial matters that continue to divide us” more times than you can count: Police stop and arrest blacks at disproportionate rates because of racism; blacks are disproportionately in prison because of racism…

Heather MacDonald goes on to cite facts and statistics.

Mona Charen wrote, “An honest “national conversation” about race is not what the grievance-mongers want.”

In 2009 Eric Holder dismissed America as a “nation of cowards” because we wouldn’t, he argued, have a “national conversation” about race. It’s a slander wrapped in a farce. We talk of race unremittingly. That’s the farce. The slander is hydra-headed.

No honest conversation about race is possible when accusations of racism replace reasoned arguments. Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen, who mentioned high rates of crime among black males, was rewarded with the label of “racist” within minutes by some (The Atlantic, Slate) who presumably agree with Holder that we are too timid when discussing race.

[…]

When you consider the steady stream of agitprop churned out by the RGI [racial-grievance industrial complex], it’s amazing that race relations aren’t worse. The RGI has circulated falsehoods about black-voter “disenfranchisement” in the 2000 presidential election, about a spate of “racially motivated” arsons at black churches, about George W. Bush’s “indifference” to the lynching of a black man in Texas, about voter-ID laws being a conspiracy to suppress the black vote, about Republicans’ opposing the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (MSNBC recently ran a picture of George Wallace that ID’d him as a Republican), about “racial profiling” by New Jersey state troopers, and about “racist” killings of black immigrants by New York cops. Each of these is an outright falsehood. There was zero voter disenfranchisement in 2000, George W. Bush signed the death warrant of the killer in Texas, Republicans were more in favor of the Voting Rights Act than Democrats, the tragic shootings of two black men in New York were mistakes, and on and on.

[…]

The federal criminal penalties for crack, passed in the 1980s, were a response to the devastation crack was causing in black neighborhoods. The huge spike in crime during the 1980s — and the vast victimization of inner-city blacks — was primarily attributable to crack addiction. If it was racist to impose these penalties, why were members of the Congressional Black Caucus the first to champion the legislation? Heather Mac Donald noted in City Journal that the laws on crystal meth have a similarly “disparate impact” . . . on whites. “In 2006, the 5,391 sentenced federal meth defendants (nearly as many as the crack defendants) were 54 percent white, 39 percent Hispanic, and 2 percent black.”

From 1976 to 2004, 65 percent of executions involved whites, though whites committed only 47 percent of murders. Evidence of anti-white bias in the system? You could make such a case, and it would have as much validity as the manufactured panic about anti-black bias in America.

Obama to Blacks: Stop Complaining and Fight (Video)

Posted by FactReal on September 26, 2011

Agitator-in-Chief Obama told blacks on Saturday to quit crying and complaining and “put on your marching shoes” to help him fight.
Obama: “I expect all of you to march with me and press on. Take off your bedroom slippers, put on your marching shoes. Shake it off. Stop complaining. Stop grumbling. Stop crying. We are gonna press on. We’ve got work to do.”

OBAMA SAYS TEA PARTIERS ARE RACISTS…He Hasn’t Seen the Miami Tea Parties (Videos, Photos)

Posted by FactReal on March 3, 2011

THE LEFT’S OBSESSION WITH RACE
Obama said Tea Partiers are racists:

In May 2010, he [Obama] told guests at a private White House dinner that race was probably a key component in the rising opposition to his presidency from conservatives, especially right-wing activists in the anti-incumbent “Tea Party” movement that was then surging across the country…

A guest suggested that when Tea Party activists said they wanted to “take back” their country, their real motivation was to stir up anger and anxiety at having a black president, and Obama didn’t dispute the idea. He agreed that there was a “subterranean agenda” in the anti-Obama movement—a racially biased one—that was unfortunate. But he sadly conceded that there was little he could do about it.

Obama and other leftists conveniently ignore the Miami Tea Parties. In Miami, people from different background, race, nationality, and age have come together to protests against Obama’s failed policies. (BTW, it’s time leftists stop referring to Hispanics as ‘browns.’ Hispanics may be of any race or ethnic group, i.e., White, Black, Asian, Mestizos, etc. Being Hispanic means the person comes from a Spanish-speaking nation. It does not refer to race.)

Following are some Tea Party videos and photos. Note that those images were taken to record the protests and not to prove that Tea Parties are diverse.

12. The Florida Time-Union (9/22/2010): Sink hails ruling against gay adoption ban.
13. St. Petersburg Times (9/29/2010): Sink has said she doesn’t want to increase voucher programs for now…[Sink’s] education plan would eventually increase the state’s share of education funding by relying on sources of revenue other than property taxes — but she won’t specifically say how she’ll do that.

DAVID RIVERA VS. JOE GARCIA’S CONTROVERSIES: Donations to his campaign from corrupt Rangel (FL-25)

Posted by FactReal on October 17, 2010

JOE GARCIA AND HIS CORRUPT, PRO-CASTRO FRIEND CHARLIE RANGEL (D-NY)
Why leftists keep on finding Joe Garcia and are willing to donate to his campaign?
What do they see in Joe Garcia?

This past week, the Miami Herald targeted David Rivera’s source of income. They even called Rivera a spy just because they have questions about his income. The Miami Herald indicated they have at least two reporters assigned to “puzzle out Rivera’s résumé.” How many reporters do they have investigating Joe Garcia’s sources of income and campaign contributions? How about Joe Garcia’s donors and their connection to Castro?

When will the Miami media unveil the real Joe Garcia? “Garcia has yet to provide a credible explanation as to why individuals who do business with the Castro brothers and are diligently working to end the embargo against Cuba’s dictatorship would want to invest tens of thousands of dollars into his campaign after he has stated that he is opposed to lifting the embargo.”

RADICAL RANGEL
Charles Rangel is a longtime Democrat congressman from New York, friend of Communist dictator Fidel Castro, race-hustler who commonly levies baseless charges of racism to advance his political career. He proposed the largest tax increase in American history and has been involved in income-tax scandal and real-estate corruption. In July 2008, even the leftist New York Times reported on Rangel tax problems. He has been charged with countless ethics violations.

Rangel loves Castro: In 1995, Rangel greeted Fidel Castro with a bear hug in Harlem, New York. “Rangel, a frequent critic of the U.S. embargo against Cuba, met with Fidel Castro on a trip to the island in 2002, but only acknowledged that the Cuban government picked up part of the tab when a watchdog group began making recent inquiries.” Rangel’s Cuba trip was subsidized by Castro.

For decades, Rangel has been working against America’s best interests. However, Joe Garcia has no problem associating himself and accepting money from this corrupt, divisive, and Marxist politician.

Joe Garcia also received $10,000 from Rangel’s National Leadership PAC.

Rangel is so fond of Joe Garcia that on 4/21/2008, he held a fundraiser for Garcia’s bid against Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart.

LEFTISTS ONLY TOLERATE OTHER LEFTISTS
Is Rangel hoping Joe Garcia will continue with his leftist policies:

PRO-HIGH TAXES:
In October 2007, Rangel and this Committee unveiled a proposal for the single largest tax increase — on all income strata — in American history. Dubbed the “mother of all tax bills” by Rangel, the legislation not only contained $1.3 billion in new taxes, but it also called for the repeal of the major tax cuts that Congress had enacted in 2001 and 2003; all told, the bill would have resulted in a tax hike of $3.5 trillion.

PRO-TERRORIST:
In February 2005, Rangel proclaimed that it was inappropriate for Americans to characterize groups like Hezbollah as “Islamic terrorists.” “To call it Islamic terror is discriminating, it’s bigoted, it is not the right thing to say,” Rangel declared.

PRO-MARXIST:
Rangel is an avowed admirer of the former Cuban President Fidel Castro. In April 1993, the congressman introduced legislation to repeal the Cuban Democracy Act of 1992, which ended U.S. assistance to the Castro government, and to lift the American embargo against Cuba. When Castro toured Harlem in October of 1995, Rangel greeted him with a bear hug at an event in a local church, where the congressman joined in a prolonged standing ovation for the visiting dictator.

CORRUPT POLITICIAN:
Before the ethic violations charges, Charlie Rangel was the chairman of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee in charge of writing the U.S. tax laws. Ironically, he “not only failed to pay taxes on income he received from a luxury resort property he owns, he financed the purchase with an interest-free loan from a campaign backer who is also a politically active lawyer.” (H/t: OpiniPundit) Here is the long list of charges, more, and more.
Some of Rangel’s litany of transgressions:
– Evading taxes on $1.3 million in income derived from multiple properties and failing to disclose hundreds of thousands of dollars of assets and income.
– Accusations of taking a $1 million contribution to the Rangel Center at City College from a wealthy businessman who later got a lucrative tax break for his company.
-Accepting a Citigroup-funded trip to the Caribbean in November 2008, when the bank was bleeding the bailout funds dry.
– Unreported rental income from a vacation villa in the Dominican Republic that Rangel failed to acknowledge when filling out financial disclosure forms.
