LIST: Democrats Objecting to Electoral College Vote Certification since 2000

Posted by FactReal on January 5, 2021

For 20 years, Democrats have objected every presidential election when a Republican won. The leftist media did not accused Democrats of doing something unconstitutional. They actually praised them as “a valid effort to shine light on claimed irregularities.”

But now, “Democrats are upset over plans by several Republican lawmakers intending to object to the Electoral College vote certification this week, but it’s a move Democrats have employed in the past,” reports MRCTV.

Here is a short list of Democrats objecting to electoral college certification:

IN 2005: DEMOCRATS BARACK OBAMA & HILLARY CLINTON SUPPORTED OBJECTING TO ELECTORAL COLLEGE CERTIFICATION
MRCTV: “During the Senate debate on the electoral challenge in January of 2005, none other than Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton took the floor.”

This is their only opportunity to have this debate while the country is listening, and it is appropriate to do so. If there were other venues of this caliber, we would have taken that opportunity. But this is the opportunity. We have a responsibility to take advantage of it.” (C-SPAN, 1/6/05, 34:14-34:45)
