|Ron Gochez, infamous teacher/agitator and self-avowed Marxist, crashed a peaceful rally in support of Cuba’s Ladies in White (Damas de Blanco), female dissidents being persecuted by the Castros. Gochez taunted the exiled Cubans by yelling Marxist slogans and by waving a Cuban flag with an image of Che Guevara. Che Guevara tortured and killed many Cubans. After half a century, Cubans continue suffering. Teacher Gochez almost caused a riot.|
CUBAN RALLY ‘HUNGER FOR CHANGE IN CUBA’-
IN SUPPORT OF CUBAN DISSIDENTS ‘DAMAS DE BLANCO’ (LADIES IN WHITE)
Location: Echo Park, Los Angeles, California, USA
Date: March 28, 2010
Organizers: Andy Garcia, Steven Bauer, Maria Conchita Alonso, etc.
Reason for the Rally:
Los Angeles joined other marchers around the world in solidarity with victims of repression in Cuba. The rally was spurred by recent public beatings and violent harassment of Cuba’s Damas de Blanco (Ladies in White) – a group of mothers and wives asking for the release of their husbands and sons jailed by Castro for opposing his regime.
Dressed in white, Cubans and friends were at their rally in support of the ‘Damas de Blanco’ (Ladies in White) who are dissident women currently being persecuted in Cuba by the Castro regime.
Using a megaphone, Gochez yelled Marxist slogans to call the attention of the Cubans at the rally. Gochez kept taunting the crowd until some of the Cubans went to him and took his Marxist flags down.
What was Gochez expecting? For half a century, Castro has tortured, repressed and even killed Cubans. Che Guevara sent many Cubans to jail or to the firing squads. Many of the executions were put on TV to terrorize Cubans into submission.
Typical bully, Gochez claimed that he was assaulted. On his press release dated April 2, 2010, Gochez mentions that a police report was filed and an investigation is on-going.
Gochez sought the police for protection – the same police he called “brutal apes of repression.” (video)
