**Breaking: Author Salman Rushdie Stabbed in New York

FROM THE “RELIGION OF PEACE” Via Fox News: An Associated Press reporter witnessed a man storm the stage at the Chautauqua Institution and begin punching or stabbing Rushdie as he was being introduced. The author was taken or fell to the floor, and the man was restrained. Rushdie’s book “The Satanic Verses” has been banned in Iran since 1988, as many Muslims consider it to be blasphemous. A year later, Iran’s late leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini issued a fatwa, or edict, calling for Rushdie’s death. Iran has also offered over $3 million in reward for anyone who kills Rushdie. WTC Bombing 20 Years ago…under President Bill Clinton

THE FIRST WORLD TRADE CENTER BOMBING…UNDER PRESIDENT CLINTON Islamic terrorists attacked Americans many times before September 11, 2001. One of those attacks was the first World Trade Center bombing in 1993. The Morning of Feb. 26, 1993 “The epicenter was the parking garage beneath the World Trade Center, where a massive eruption carved out a nearly 100-foot crater several stories deep and several more high,” the FBI summarized.

“On the morning of Feb. 26, 1993, Eyad Ismoil drove a rented Ryder Ford F350 Econoline truck packed with 1,500 pounds of fertilizer-based explosives into level B-2 of the underground garage beneath the World Trade Center. Ismoil departed, leaving a timing device set to detonate the explosives a while later. At 12:18 p.m., the bomb exploded, killing six, creating a crater 150 feet in diameter that blew a hole five floors deep in the parking garage. The towers, however, did not fall. […] Yousef, the mastermind of the plot, later said he had hoped to kill tens of thousands. The explosives were manufactured at a Jersey City apartment, using chemicals ordered from a supply company. They were placed in the truck at a rented storage shed alongside three tanks of compressed hydrogen gas, purchased to enhance the destructive power of the explosives. The plotters, including Yousef and Yasin, built the bombs using manuals brought from Pakistan.”

Those who weren’t trapped were soon pouring out of the building—many panic-stricken and covered in soot. More than a thousand people were hurt in some way, some badly, with crushed limbs,” the FBI recounted.

The FBI Provides more Details of the Attack and the Terrorists “An Islamic fundamentalist named Mohammad Salameh had rented the vehicle, we learned, and on March 4, an FBI SWAT team arrested him as he tried in vain to get his $400 deposit back. One clue led to another and we soon had in custody three more suspects—Nidal Ayyad, Mahmoud Abouhalima, and Ahmed Ajaj. We’d also found the apartment where the bomb was built and a storage locker containing dangerous chemicals, including enough cyanide gas to wipe out a town. All four men were tried, convicted, and sentenced to life. The shockwave from the attack continued to reverberate. Following the unfolding connections, the task force soon uncovered a second terrorist plot to bomb a series of New York landmarks simultaneously, including the U.N. building, the Holland and Lincoln Tunnels, and the federal plaza where our office in New York is housed. On June 24, 1994, FBI agents stormed a warehouse in Queens and caught several members of a terrorist cell in the act of assembling bombs. Meanwhile, the mastermind of the World Trade Center bombing was still on the run—and up to no good. We’d learned his name—Ramzi Yousef—within weeks after the attack and discovered he was planning more attacks, including the simultaneous bombing of a dozen U.S. international flights. Yousef was captured in Pakistan in February 1995, returned to America, and convicted along with the van driver, Eyad Ismoil. A seventh plotter, Abdul Yasin, remains at large. We later learned from Yousef that his Trade Center plot was far more sinister. He wanted the bomb to topple one tower, with the collapsing debris knocking down the second. The attack turned out to be something of a deadly dress rehearsal for 9/11; with the help of Yousef’s uncle Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, al Qaeda would later return to realize Yousef’s nightmarish vision.” Bill Clinton’s Failures Unleashed Global Terror Via The Washington Times: The Clinton foreign policy was to get re-elected. US Senate Kills Bill to Stop Obama’s Transfer of Weapons to Egypt

OBAMA ERA: WEAPONS FOR ISLAMIC RADICALS BUT NOT FOR AMERICANS All Democrats and several RINO-Republicans in the U.S. Senate voted yesterday to block an amendment trying to stop Obama from sending $1 billion worth of F-16 fighter jets and Abrams tanks to the Islamic radicals now in power in Egypt. CNSNews.com reported: The U.S. Senate Thursday defeated an amendment that aimed to prevent the Obama  administration from transferring F-16 fighter aircraft and Abrams tanks  to an Egypt in disarray. A vote to block the measure proposed by Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) – an amendment to the debt limit bill – passed by a 79–19 vote. In a strong-worded floor statement Paul questioned the wisdom of  providing the sophisticated weaponry at a time when “many see Egypt  descending into chaos.” He based his argument on the Egyptian government’s conduct, President  Mohammed Morsi’s expressed radical views, and the possibility that the  weapons could be used in a future conflict against Israel. “I think this is particularly unwise since Egypt is currently  governed by a religious zealot, a religious zealot who said recently  that Jews were ‘bloodsuckers’ and ‘descendants of apes and pigs,’” he  said. “This doesn’t sound like the kind of stable personality that we  would be sending our most sophisticated weapons to.” SEE HOW YOUR SENATORS VOTED A ‘No’ vote here would have stopped Obama from transferring these advanced weapons to the Egyptian regime. The Obama administration decided to blame an obscure YouTube video about Mohammed for the attack instead of giving the facts to the American public.
